1)Madhubani
Madhubani painting (Mithila painting) was traditionally created by the women of various communities in the Mithila region of the Indian subcontinent. It originated from Janakpur, the capital; city of ancient Mithila but named after Madhubani district of the Mithila region of Bihar. 5 Generation Artists embedded Maithili Roots in them carry on this Art since their forefathers on cowdung paper & cloth ( Duppatas & stoles).

There are three main types of paintings in Odisha; the painting on cloth or Pattachitra, painting on palm leaf or Pothichitra and paintings on walls or Bithichitra, originated from Odisha west Bengal this folk Art talks mythological stories of lord Jagannath Puri, balabhadra & Subhadhra , it's unique scrolls painted on. Cloths like silk & Tussar silk . Leaf paintings pothichitra or tala Pattachitra, borders are carved with nail & hammer on the leaf & then painted with black color with nib pen.

3) Warli & Saura Painting
Warli Painting is the folk painting of Maharashtra. The name 'Warli' is inspired by the largest tribe found in the northern Maharashtra's villages like Palghar Jwahar & Mokhada It is dated back to the 10th century AD. Stick figures telling the story life in the village, painted on walls & on cloth with mud paint & rice paste. Saura painting is a style of wall mural paintings associated with the Saura tribals of the state of Odisha in India. These paintings, also called ikons (or ekons) are visually similar to Warli paintings and hold religious significance for the Sauras.

4) Saanjhi Art
Sanjhi Painting is a tradition of art that originated out of the cult of Krishna and flourished in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is in Vraja, or Vrindavan, the homeland of Lord Sri Krishna. Recycled or handmade paper is used to create the stencil. The specific metal scissors used for making Sanjhi art . The inspiration for designing motifs for his brand, Sanjhi Art (Paper Cutting), comes from nature.

Cheriyal Scroll Painting is a stylized version of Nakashi art, rich in the local motifs peculiar to the Telangana. They are at present made only in Hyderabad, Telangana. These outlines are defined clearly and appear sharp which shows the quality as well as the skill of the Cheriyal craftsman.

6) Rajasthani Miniature Painting
The Miniature paintings of Rajasthan were originally commissioned by the Rajput kings, but Mughal influence came to be seen in them, in terms of clothing, facial features and architecture. Long necks and large almond-shaped eyes, are some of the features in this style. Architectural spaces were painted in fine detail.
